What should I record first?
Record the model, filter and membrane dates, storage behavior and whether the concern is taste, output or a leak. A slow faucet can involve tank pressure, incoming pressure or an obstruction, so membrane replacement is not the only possible answer.
What changes the recommendation?
Ask the provider which readings and component checks support the diagnosis. Filters, membrane, tank, faucet and drain arrangement are separate parts; compare an itemized repair with the age and supportability of the complete system.
What should the service scope include?
Confirm sanitizing and flushing requirements, replacement part numbers, leak checks and the result expected after service. Keep any refrigerator line in the scope. Follow manufacturer guidance rather than applying an unfamiliar system's procedure.
Apply the correct source evidence
Confirm the supplier on the property water bill. Port St. Lucie’s public report applies to its Utility Systems customers; a mailing address does not prove supplier, and a private well needs its own testing. See the Port St. Lucie source guide before applying a report or selecting a treatment goal.
Review the 2025 Water Quality Report for the appropriate source boundary. Source review: October 4, 2026. This guide provides decision questions; equipment selection and any safety-related interpretation require appropriate measurements and qualified advice.
