What should I record first?
Record whether all fixtures lose pressure, whether hot and cold water differ and whether the problem occurs only when several taps run. Static pressure and pressure at actual flow answer different questions; a single reading can miss the restriction.
What changes the recommendation?
A qualified provider can compare pressure before and after cartridges, tanks and valves and assess service-line and equipment flow ratings. A loaded cartridge, obstructed valve, undersized media bed and supply problem call for different work.
What should the service scope include?
Include the existing equipment sequence and recent cartridge or media changes in the request. Ask for the pressure drop at the relevant flow before and after service. Do not bypass treatment for drinking use without understanding the reason it was installed.
Apply the correct source evidence
Confirm the supplier on the property water bill. Port St. Lucie’s public report applies to its Utility Systems customers; a mailing address does not prove supplier, and a private well needs its own testing. See the Port St. Lucie source guide before applying a report or selecting a treatment goal.
Review the 2025 Water Quality Report for the appropriate source boundary. Source review: October 4, 2026. This guide provides decision questions; equipment selection and any safety-related interpretation require appropriate measurements and qualified advice.
