What should I record first?
Make an equipment inventory in the actual order of water flow. Record model numbers, cartridges, media, settings, installation or last-service dates and the reason each stage exists. This is more useful than a generic reminder to replace all filters annually.
What changes the recommendation?
Use manufacturer instructions and measured performance to distinguish routine replacement, valve service, resin or media work and laboratory retesting. Assign responsibility for each item and record which tasks are included in a service agreement.
What should the service scope include?
Keep test results and dated service notes together. After a change, verify the relevant hardness, pressure, target parameter or output rather than recording only that a technician visited. Ask the provider to identify future triggers for repair or redesign.
Apply the correct source evidence
Confirm the supplier on the property water bill. Port St. Lucie’s public report applies to its Utility Systems customers; a mailing address does not prove supplier, and a private well needs its own testing. See the Port St. Lucie source guide before applying a report or selecting a treatment goal.
